1. Anyway, May I inquire as to how you arrived at that conclusion i.e retesting of highs of Friday.
My book calculation based on 3 day rally indicated a projected level of 1045 which the market did hit.
2. Previously you mentioned that you would not go long unless there was a BV first, based on your prediction were you able to entertain longs on Monday.
Thank you. The main reason for that call was that we had closed near the highs of the day and that based on the average 3 day rally we should have gone higher to the 1045 level like you said.
A BV on a SS day is different than a BV on a Sell day. On SS day it must be that the Buy day Violation is in effect at the open of the SS day. Reason is that once the SS day opens above the Bd Low you do have a positive 3 day rally and therefore the market could continue down and it would still have met the criteria. All it would do is produce a smaller 3 day rally.
It is then riskier to long under these circonstances. Lately we know that the markets are bullish in general so that does help reduce that risk. If we were in a bear market like last year then I would think differently.

yep as mentioned in last night's comments " Momentum could take us higher before the decline starts."
So far ES reversed at the average penetration numbers and gave a nice trade.
