The E-mini Russell 2000 Future is an Index Future based on the Russell 2000 index. The 'E' in E-mini stands for Electronic and the 'Mini' signifies that it is smaller than the traditional Russell 2000 Index Future.
The Ticker Symbol for the E-mini Russell 2000 Index Future used to be ER2 when it was traded on the CME. However, since it has moved to the IntercontinentalExchange (ICE), the ticker symbol changed to TF. It trades in values of $100 per point. Compare this to its big brother the RL which trades in values of $500 per point, or five times the size.
