Mirus Futures Broker Review

Mirus has competitive commissions and is paired with Zenfire, which for the most part is reliable.

However, a fatal problem with Mirus (at least my broker) is that when something did go wrong in August, I was unable to reach their emergency number or my broker for over an hour. Luckily I was out of a position but if something goes wrong and you're stuck, good luck. There's no catastrophic stop you can set up with them either.

To summarise, Mirus is good as long as nothing goes wrong. If something does, you can't rely on them to do anything.

Never used their technical support, but had to call their trading desk a few times.

overall quite reliable connection but experienced twice a situation where their risk server went down which prevented me from managing (effectively closing) any position. On one occasion this lasted for about 20 mins and not even their helpdesk were able to close my position while the problem was ongoing.

They are not the cheapest but part of the fee is for the feed i guess.

I've never had any problems with Mirus. The data feed is extremely reliable and works perfectly with NinjaTrader. The commissions are competitive also.

Ninja Trader with Zen-Fire data feed. The connection to the Mirus server is rock solid.
