Can be better with market delta, control max money loss for the account, but the good thing was free indicator to grab in their forum.

Evaluate carefully depending on your needs. They do get bogged down in heavy volume days. One day I couldn't execute any orders because they had a disk full problem on their transaction server!!! They don't answer phones when their servers go down either -- they put the phones on auto-answer to tell you they are aware of the problem. The charting software has extensive capability but its resolution isn't as good as Multicharts or even stockcharts.com. It's a one stop shop so it is nice to get order execution (broker), charting, and data feed from one place.

If you’re trading only stocks and you’re a “new “trader I highly recommend them for you, their tech support will give you all the time you need and teach you how to fix any problem you might have. I practically used them as my school; they spent more than 5 hours per week one on one with me. If you trade futures and commodities they are OK only if you use limit orders. You will have a big slippage if you use “market orders”

I pretty much echo what LORN described. I've also got multiple accounts and have been using TradeStation from back when they mailed you a bazillion disks to load the program (along with thick manuals) ... and ya had to find your own datafeed. But I really like the charting and just simply got used to it. Only will trade futures on it.
It used to be the Cadillac of analysis and backtesting etc. and had lots of indicators built in (and also lots of 3rd party plug-in software). But any burst in volume and the quotes are untradable. So, I avoid executing near any news release or scheduled report.
Maybe they're simply working with coding that's past its prime and need to rebuild the thing from the ground up. This is really all I have to add to what LORN wrote in his review (hell, I shoulda just copy/pasted his words here ... time flies when you plagiarise :-)
I'm on TS 8.X but they'll be rolling out 9.0 at some point as it's in the works now. I hope they include more Market Profile type capabilities and other "different" and newer analysis perspectives that are showing up in other software packages these days. Hell, maybe they'll fix the quote problem (not holding breath). Oh yeah, Easy Language ain't easy.

I would reccomend for historical studies and great charting. I do have complaints about TS, years ago I used to trade stocks, Their routing system shunted one of my orders to an ecn that was down (but had the best stagnant bid price!). took me a while to figure it out and instead of losing a little money I lost a lot. When I complained they told me that's what can happen, "Not anymore to me," I said and yanked my equity account. Still have a futures account there because I like the charting and the easy language and the historical data. Order execution ladder has finally been improved.

I have multiple accounts so one is at Tradestation. If you have only one account I don't recommend them. If you have multiple accounts then I'd recommend them.
Charting is phenomenal. Order entry is the best.
Data is horrible. Execution is somewhat questionable.
I really wish TS would step up because they have awesome order entry and the charts are so easy to use.

If you are trading Automated strategies - you will find that trade execution is lightning fast. Use their Matrix (dome) for discretionary entries.
