This is a great read which follows a few groups of traders who bet on the subprime mortgage crises happening and how they pulled off the trade of their lifetimes. What makes it a great read are the characters that are involved and their convictions about what was going to happen (and did happen) and those that were convinced that it would not happen.
I think that the quote that I loved the most and what summed why the crises was going to happen was when we hear about a Californian strawberry picker who could speak no English and earned a salary of $12,000 per and was able to qualify for a mortgage to buy a home for $750,000. Priceless.
