Failed IB breakout

YM, 1st hour was long. "C" couldn't break long, tested IB low.

the c period closed almost at the ib low...so my question is when is your entry, at the close of the c period or before?

"C" low was 17 ticks above the IB low (for YM) entry is stop order, one tick below "C" low (of course after "C" closes)

thanks, and how about for the stop loss level? a tick above the "c" high or above the "c" close ?

No, a fixed stop loss and target is employed.
