This is an example of how time cycles can vary under different market conditions. Looking back over the last month or so of one minute charts, one can find numerous periods where this method works almost perfectly, and then there are periods where it's effectiveness is marginal. From my observations no single method of time cycle analysis works all of the time. Hey, there are periods where projecting from a high to a low gives the next high and vice-versa. Any one of these methods might work for an entire swing lasting several hours and then the market will start dancing to a different tune
The question here is: Are there certain market conditions that can be identified early so one can determine which rhythm the market is going to use next? I don't know yet - more research is needed! Please experiment with this and post any results here in the forum.
