So. How did the ensign chat work?. Is this is a permanent change?. If so, I'll download the software. I dislike software changes in my computer unless strictly necessary.

So far so good Maria...still working on improving it, but everyone seems to like it. We were able to get voice chat going but not until after the market was closed.
As far as if this is a permanent change, I think its too early to decide that.

One thing you might consider is using Echat there isn't a record preserved of the session, so those that might want to review what happened during the day are out of luck. Using Mypivots allowed for a history that could be studied.
I agree. A searchable archive of the day's activity is invaluable.
