That Pivot Point Calculator is temporarily broken for Bonds.
This is fixed now.
quote:thanks!!..so for the 10 year note...lets say on my trading platform it is listed as 116.045 OR 116-045 in the newspaper...for the calculator do I simply enter as 116045 (or 11604) and enter 32nds (not 64ths)???....again this is for 10 year note(not 30 yearbond)...thanks for your help!!!!

If the 116.045 is decimal then just use the decimal selection. However, if it signifies 32nds and there are half 32nds then double the fractional part and select 64ths.
So, for example, you would enter 116-045 as 116-09 and then select the 64ths button before clicking calculate. Remember to double the fractional part of all the numbers when you do this.
I believe that the following 3 formats for 32nds and 64ths are all valid:
116'09
116-09
11609
Let us know if this works out.

for the 10 year note:
*decimals do not work at all...give weird numbers that could not even be 10 year note numbers
*inputting numbers like 11717 for 10 yr and using 32nds is the only thing that works correctly...using 64ths gives weird numbers...
I compared what I did to http://charts3.barchart.com/procal.asp?sym=ZNM8 I do not use them (Barchart) because they always (hour after hour) update this section (only place to find 10 year pivots etc.) and I just want it once from the prvious day...like your daily notes...so at the end of the day...I will use your pivot calculator..as according to what I did..is working great!...thanks for your help...
We've just updated the Pivot Point Calculator again and have added a 32nds + halves option to the calculator as well as allowing a number of new input formats. You can now enter a bond price as 11709, 117.09, 117-09 or 117'09 if you're entering it in 32nds. If you're entering bond prices to include halves then add the extra digit to the end of those numbers. You need to add a 0 or a 5. For example, 117095, 117.090, 117-175, 117'310
quote:WOW!...this is great...so I just enter 117.185 format (10 year note) and 32
