How good is listening to the S&P Squawk box for Day Trading. Any good link to the glossary of terms that one can expect to hear on this audio broadcast

The only thing that I ever got out of listening to a squawk box was the activity of the market when the noise picked up and this represented higher than average volume moving through the market and brought your attention to focus on what was going on. If the market is dull and you take your eyes off the charts then this noise will let you know when you need to refocus and look at the charts again. There's indicator for eSignal called the Pit Simulator which makes an audible noise according to volume and I get the same benefit out of this indicator that I got out of the squawk box.
