Using Volume at Price to Trade the Gold Market

Lisa from Chart-Ex has written an excellent article Using Volume at Price to Trade the Gold Market.

Lisa worked as an account executive on the floor at CBOT for several years and as such has a unique insight into trading that many modern day traders do not have. I'm guessing that over half of the day traders in the electronic market today have never even seen a pit let alone been involved in the day to day trading and activities in the pit.

Lisa's husband continues to trade in the CBOT pits every day and uses the Chart-Ex charts for his pre-market figures every day. Chart-Ex is a great free resource for traders and I would highly recommend asking the Chart-Ex team questions about how they use their charts to isolate levels of support and resistance in the markets before the trading day begins.
